Note on fonts: this site currently loads typefaces from Google Fonts' servers (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com), which transmits the visitor's IP address to Google at load time. German courts (notably LG München I) have treated this as requiring consent or a switch to self-hosted fonts. Before going live, either (a) self-host the font files locally, or (b) gate the Google Fonts request behind the same cookie-consent banner used for analytics.

3. Cookies

We use cookies for essential site function, analytics, and affiliate tracking. See our full Cookie Policy for the complete list and how to change your preferences at any time.

4. Data retention

Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, unless a longer retention is legally required.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the data we hold about you; request correction or erasure; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

6. International transfers

Where a service we use (e.g. an email or analytics provider) processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on that provider's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. [Name the specific providers used once chosen — e.g. newsletter tool, analytics tool].
